The first one is made by paper and 1:100 scale(paper is flexible but hard to fix them together and unstable)
   

 The second one is made by cardboard and 1:10 scale(It is a successful model, cardboard is hard to make a flexible shape but easy to connect them together and it is very stable)Also, I joined some folding techniques.
                                                                 

The third one is made by screen mesh,paper and cardboard(This time I tried four materials to make it more vivid.It is a tearoom for people to have a chat here.) I use open-air roof and mesh walls make lots of shadow effects to engage people visit this tea room.

                                                                            

The fourth model is made by cardboard with different shapes,like circle and diagrams with some ideas in it.Like I use different walls with triangles, pentagon to separate rooms and creates several shadows to make different atmospheres for visitors.

                                                                           

 

The fifth model is made by balsa wood.Because it is easy to cut and more stable than papers.

The place I created is for children,it placed on a park and made by several simple diagrams.

                                                                         

100 words statement:

 First, I choose to discover the materiality when using mesh,paper,balsa wood and cardboard to make models.I reckon paper should be a successful material to make a good model.Second,I tests them in different diagrams and shapes when making these five models,even combines them in one model.At the end,found that paper is the least valuable material for model making.Paper is very unstable and friable after finished.Mesh is flexible but hard to make diagrams. Balsa wood has well flexibility and is easy to cut any shape you want.Cardboard is cheaper than cardboard and it is very stable.In conclusion,cardboard and balsa wood are the best two materials for model making.
